Poetry Group

The poet and tutor Laurence Scott formed the The Poetry Group in 2002 as an offshoot of Word for Word. They hold regular workshops throughout the year on Tuesday afternoons (1pm-3pm) at Hornsey Library, Haringey Park, Crouch End, London N8 9JA.

The group have produced three anthologies of poems, a pamphlet of haiku, held an exhibition of poems in the library gallery, and were visited by the poet, lecturer and educationalist Maggie Butt who read from her pamphlet Quintana Roo and chatted about her poetry.
