WRITING : SUMMER 2008

My poem, 'Travelling East' will be featured in an event for the Hampstead and Highgate Literary Festival, May 2008.
My short story : Samir Hakkim's Healthy Eating Diary, in the 'Give me Shelter' Anthology ( Francis Lincoln) :

Short Listed for the UK Literacy Association Award 2008.
Book reviews : I am currently reviewing a series of books for the JC, covering both novels and non-fiction.

SUMMER RESIDENCY :

I will be running workshops in Leicester May-July 2008,for a Memories Project, Heritage Lottery Funded, in conjunction with Leicester University. We will be publishing a book, creating an oral archive and organising a road show. So watch this space!
