Membership - How to join (and why)

Why should I join? Because members...

• Get reduced session fees (see below)
• Are invited to Management meetings, where they can help decide how the group is run, which tutors we book and take part in the election of officers.
• Get a Secret Password, allowing them access to the Members Room on the website, where they will find agendas and minutes of past meetings.
• Are statistically proven to be 20% more sexually alluring

How do I join ?

Membership runs annually, from the beginning of each September, and its £10, so no point in joining halfway through August, then.
When you come to any Word for Word session, someone (usually Brian Docherty) will be there to take your money. He will gladly relieve you of a further tenner for Membership, and give you a receipt.

And that’s it – all done and dusted! There is no membership card, badge, tie or t-shirt nor do you have to learn the words of an embarrassing song. For the next twelve months you can swagger around Crouch End and environs, smug in the knowledge that you are, well, a member of Word for Word.
